"Bijoux Bleu" (Blue Jewels in French)

For the past several years as a dance instructor I have primarily worked with young children. It has been so refreshing and invigorating as an artist to work with older, more experienced dancers. For 3 whole weeks now (note the sarcasm) I have been putting my heart and soul into choreographing a classical piece for the ballet company. That entails I've picked out the music (excerpts from Sergei Rachmaninov’s Piano Concertos), spent hours and hours coming up the choreography, designed the costumes, made 8 tiaras, rhinestoned 8 tutus, and rehearsed 10 dancers to perfection (okay not quite perfection, but close).

Wednesday, Feb. 4th at 7:30pm
SanJac South: in the Fine Arts Building
13735 Beamer Rd. Houston, TX 77089

The performance is FREE and should be very entertaining. I would love for everyone to come out and show your support. It will make a fun/free date night as well as a great way to expose your kids to the arts (if it's not past their bed time). Let me know if you’d like more information about the show. Also, to learn more about the ballet company visit http://www.bahbt.org/
